Since joining Ames & Gough in 1995, Brett Gough has played a key role in shaping the firm’s growth and operational excellence. As Chief Operating Officer and Partner, he leads the Boston office and oversees the firm’s strategic initiatives, always focused on aligning resources to deliver exceptional results for clients.

A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Brett holds a Construction Risk & Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation from the International Risk Management Institute. He is known for his practical approach and steady leadership style, earning the trust of both colleagues and clients. Away from work, Brett is a loyal Gamecocks fan and an avid golfer who enjoys the challenge and focus the game demands.
