Marguerite Parent

As Vice President and Partner, Marguerite Parent was instrumental in creating Ames & Gough’s property/casualty division and continues to lead its growth today. Based in Boston, she manages the property and casualty needs of large architecture and engineering clients across the firm’s Boston and Washington, D.C. offices. 

Marguerite joined Ames & Gough in 2006 after building her career at William Gallagher Associates, where she created and managed the Emerging Client Group, and at the Thomas E. Sears Insurance Agency as an account manager. A summa cum laude graduate of Northeastern University with a degree in finance, she also holds the Construction Risk & Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation from the International Risk Management Institute.

Clients value Marguerite for her deep expertise and her hands-on, approachable style. When she’s not working with clients, Marguerite enjoys spending time with family and friends and splitting her year between Boston and sunny Florida.
